Soooo I realized this weekend that my kitchen tools really need to be replaced. I have been doing some research and it seems like OXO might be the best bet. Has anyone ever used/had any of their tools?

OXO has a pretty good reputation - I have several of their doohickies and I'm very pleased with them.

OXO is a good name brand but expensive. If you have a kitchen supply company around, I would wander in and see what they have. I purchased an inexpensive pair of cooking tongs and a cheap peeler that are two of my favorite kitchen tools. I only regret not buying two of each.

I like OXO, too, although I agree w/RG--they can be a bit expensive. Besides a restaurant supply, another great place to go to get kitchen tools is your local Chinese market--great for spiders, bamboo spatulas, large spoons, etc. I've even found some good gadgetry for not tons of money by shopping at Ross, Marshall's, TJMaxx and Home Goods--it's a mixed bag, but you can get some really good deals.
