hey all a amature proffesional from sunny az. I love to cook and love to try cooking new things. I found some great hidden fruits and vegtable by joining a co op things I dont think I would of ever tried if it wasnt for them.

New to this forum and to the site hoping to learn a trick or two and some new recipes.

My family is a little swapped on roles my wife works on the car and me in the kitchen. She has replaced the exhaust system, and a transmition. I am lucky to change the oil. She cant cook to save her life though her Idea of spagetti is tomato JUICE with some italian seasoning chili powder, and to top it off oscar myer cheese dogs. Nice huh. I find that most of us amatures have a dish we love to cook mine is stuffed pork chops (stuffed with apple stuffing) some diced potatoes and grilled asparagus.

well just wanted to say hi and look forward to chatting with you all.

Welcome aboard! Down here in LA (that's Lower Alabama for those of you who don't know) very little sunshine over the past 3 days. But we have had lots of rain.
It looks like you and I are about in the same boat as far as cooking goes. My wife knows nothing about fixing a car or cooking. Not only can she not cook, neither could her mother or grandmother. I think the only spices either of them ever used was salt. Maybe just a dash of pepper, but you didn't want to use enough to give the dish any flavor. lHeven forbid any herbs or other spices.
I never tried stuffed pork chops. I would like to hear more about them. How about posting a recipe on the recipe link :?:
