Looking for a Great Cooking Poster in Your House?

I am a huge fan of poster art especially culinary posters. Did you know that starting in the 1870's Poster Art was the dominant way of mass communication in Europe and America? Like our modern day bill boards, posters were everywhere advertising everything. And the famous artist Toulouse-Leautrec can be given credit for elevating the status of poster art to fine art when he debuted his first poster, Moulin Rouge.

Below are just a sampling of some of my favorites.

Today, you can purchase reproductions of many of these incredible tasteful posters in different sizes to be hung in your kitchen, dining room or just about any room in your house. There are so many choices in so many colors that it easy to match a poster to the color scheme of the room.

If you can find originals, they are going to cost you a bundle. But if you can't afford originals but still want some colorful art on your walls that have to do with food and cooking, there are several companies out there making fine reproductions. I suggest you take a look at the following.
