Great Food Photography For Ideas & Inspiration

I am doing my best to take better photos of the food I cook and I hope I'll soon have something to show for my effort. I've been reaching out to food photographers and food stylists to pick up tips but there are some great books now available for "reluctant" amateur photographers like me.

I'll start putting together some resources for those of you who are interested in taking better photos too. You may want to start by reading my interview with Marc Matsumoto. I picked up some really good tips about equipment in this interview that I am now using.

I also purchased a book called Food Photography From Snapshots to Great Shots. This is a perfect book for those just starting out but may be useful to those with some experience. It talks about photography fundamentals, equipment, lighting, styling, composition and editing. I'll share more about what i learn from this book as I get into it.
