"I have been basking in the glory reflected from your Caesar Salad ever since I first discovered it on the internet about a year ago. My children fight over it. My wife accuses me of being a chef. It has become the centerpiece of my repertoire. Many thanks indeed."

"Greetings~ Yes, one more thing I have to be grateful for this Thanksgiving is finding your article about grilling a turkey. I'm 55 years old and have only attempted preparing a turkey breast a few times...with minimal success. This year, I bought my first gas grill and feeling ready to take on a real turkey, got myself a 15 pounder. Everythings feeling good...except...I have no idea how to cook it. I surfed the web a bit before I came across your EXCELLENT article. I appreciate all the details and pictures you put in it.
I'll be getting the tools you suggested today and look forward to enjoying a wonderfully cooked turkey tomorrow. Thank you soooooo much for your article and all the time and effort of your web site... Irene ;~) "

re oven rack position. i read some years back that "thick to the bottom and thin to the top". this has served me well over the years. and explains why putting a deep casserole dish on the top 2 racks while cooking a turkey on the bottom rack takes forever to get the inside of the casserole cooked.
