- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ¼ teaspoon cayenned pepper optional
- 2 tablespoons fresh chives finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley finely chopped
- ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts toasted
- ¼ cup dried cranberries chopped
- crackers, sliced baguette or vegetables for serving
Mix the Base
In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, butter, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne. Beat until smooth and creamy.
Shape the Cheese Ball
Place the mixture on a piece of plastic wrap. Using the wrap, form it into a tight ball.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to firm up.
